We are located at 380 State Hwy 43 in Spencer, Indiana 47460. Our venue sits in a peaceful rural setting while remaining easily accessible — just 20 minutes from Bloomington, 45 minutes from Terre Haute, and approximately 1 hour from Indianapolis. There are plenty of local accommodations for traveling guests located conveniently close to the venue.

Abram Farms is a 7,200+ square foot venue situated on nearly 80 acres of beautiful property complete with mature trees, a creek and much more. We can accommodate up to 300 guests for an indoor or outdoor seated event.

Yes, we have a blacktop parking lot located near the venue with a walking path to the barn. We do also have a blacktop area for handicap/elderly located right next to the venue.

Yes, we have handicap parking as well as both men's and women's bathrooms with ADA handicap stalls.

Yes, we do have an indoor ceremony option available as well as several outdoor options too.

Access begins between 7-9AM depending on your chosen package. But remember, the Abram Farms staff will always have your floor plan set, linens/runners and napkins all set and in place before your arrival.

Music will cease and guest departure will begin no later than 11PM (unless an additional hour has been booked). Following that, there will be 1 additional hour for gathering personal belongings/decor/etc.

Yes! We have private spaces for the Bride (and her bridal party) and the Groom (and his party) located on the 2nd level of the venue. Each bridal suite has furniture and other staple features.

A wedding day coordinator is not included in the booking. Abram Farms will however, have staff onsite from your arrival through your departure to handle things such as temperature adjustments, emptying trash cans, keeping bathrooms tidy, cleaning up spills/etc. We do require that each couple has a wedding day coordinator. This must be someone with experience who can provide a detailed timeline and other services. We offer wedding day coordination services and our coordinators are fully committed to creating a detailed timeline, communicating with all vendors and orchestrating your rehearsal and wedding day — and we offer this service well below industry standard pricing. Ask us for more info on this!

Included in EVERY booking at Abram Farms are tables (round and/or banquet), chairs (separate chairs for indoors and outdoors), table linens, table runners and napkins (all in your choice of colors — not limited to black/white/ivory). Based on the floor plan we have designed with you prior to your big day, we will also have your tables, chairs, linens, runners and napkins all set and placed prior to your arrival. Our Bride and Groom's suite are located on the 2nd level of the venue and are included with all bookings.

A 25% nonrefundable retainer is required to secure your date with us. We also offer interest free payment plans and can customize these to meet your specific needs.

Our retainer fees are non-refundable. However, our force majeure clause does protect your investment in the case of unavoidable and unforeseen circumstances.

No! At Abram Farms we want your day to be just that — YOUR DAY. We have a completely open vendor policy. We do have a list of "preferred/recommended" vendors that has been carefully put together from our firsthand experience with their services over the years. You will receive a list of these vendors after booking and we fully stand behind their services.

Yes, we are pet friendly at Abram Farms although we do ask that they are kept on a leash or crated except when being included in your pictures or the ceremony.

No, we do not require hired security at your event.

Yes, we do collect a $500 damage deposit. This can be submitted to Abram Farms via credit card authorization form OR a check. We will NOT authorize the card or cash the check unless damages were to occur. In the event that no damages occur, the authorization form/check will be shredded.

Yes, Abram Farms is fully climate controlled which means we have heat and air. The venue will be kept comfortable during your event which sometimes means heat in the morning and air by afternoon.

Yes, we welcome scheduled photoshoots at the property. Pricing is set at $300 for a 2 hour session (you hire and bring your photographer). However, if you are a currently booked client, this is included at no additional charge with your booking.

We offer an onsite 60 minute rehearsal with all bookings at Abram Farms. Our Saturday couples will have first priority in scheduling their rehearsals. Depending on the time of year, rehearsals can sometimes take place the evening before the wedding but sometimes they are scheduled the morning of or possibly 2 days before the event. We will always do our best to accommodate rehearsals.

We are a licensed facility in the State of Indiana. We carry a 3-way beer, wine and liquor license. Basically, this makes us the same as a restaurant or bar. Legally, this means that absolutely no alcohol can be brought into the venue. All bar services must be booked directly through Abram Farms. We offer many packages and even custom options too. We also allow our couples to order items they would like to have for consumption during the day while enjoying the bride/groom suites.
